As a State Representative, Daniel Bonham has pushed back against the Democrats in Salem who have driven up the cost of gas, groceries and housing.
In just the past few years, the Legislature has raised BILLIONS of DOLLARS:
By passing billions in new gas taxes and DMV fees;
By passing a backdoor sales tax on everyday household goods and prescription drugs;
By passing a sales tax on your health insurance premiums; and
By passing a sales tax on new cars.
They’ve also passed policies that have driven up the cost of housing and made it harder for people to build new homes and or want to rent their properties for fear of reprisals by tenants.
Combined, these bills have made Oregon less affordable, and they hurt working families.
Daniel has stood up to say NO to these bad ideas, and he’s worked to kill other cost-raising laws before they could be enacted.
